About Us

MC Explosion Competitive Cheer (MCE) is not just a group of cheerleaders and dancers, but a faith-based organization of teams. The difference between a team and a group is that a team is interdependent for overall performance, focused on helping one another to accomplish organizational objectives. One of the important parts of being a team is presence of a positive mindset, knowledge that it takes every member to complete the body, belief in delivering quality, team work and patience—the essence of the MCE Family.

 

MCE is a non-profit, volunteer based all-star competitive cheer and dance organization that has been dedicated to promoting high self-confidence, self- esteem, self-discipline, academic excellence, physical fitness, leadership, and social development through competitive cheerleading for the youth in the Washington Metropolitan Area. MCE, known as the “trainers of the complete athlete”, believes that every child inhabits true talent—shooting stars waiting to be illuminated.

 

MCE staff is USASF credentialed in all skill levels and attains certification in CPR, First-Aid, and/or safety certification. Our staff is highly knowledgeable of the changing trends in cheerleading and dance and highly experienced in proper cheerleading and dance techniques. In addition, the staff serves as role models and mentors to the athletes and is committed to promoting team building, character, leadership, and wholesome fun. We glorify God for giving us the vision to establish an organization that allows each of us to grow spiritually while serving as cheerful givers. We encourage our MCE Family to always be willing to give their personal best because God always gives us His personal best. Though they are entertainers, we want them to recognize that it is God who keeps them and has Blessed them with their skills. The professionalism, experience, and talent of our staff, combined with unwavering faith, exceptional athletes, and supportive parents, makes MCE the best all-star Family in the country!
